Hi, I'm Heather

The person behind the camera.

I specialise in relaxed, natural outdoor photography for children and families, capturing real personalities and connection. My sessions are calm, child-led and designed to feel more like an adventure than a photoshoot.

As a mum myself, I know how quickly these stages pass. The little expressions, the way they hold your hand, the tiny details you don't always notice at the time, they change so fast. That's what led me to photography, and it's what still drives me now. I'm naturally very in tune with people and the moments happening around me, which helps me capture genuine emotion as it unfolds.

I've shaped my sessions around how children actually are; curious, energetic and not made to sit still. Rather than expecting them to pose, I give them space to explore, play and be themselves. It's in those moments that their real personality shines through.

Parents often tell me how relaxed the sessions feel. There's no rushing, no pressure and no strict time limits, with lots of patience for those children that might be a little shy at first or the extra energetic children that tend to switch off the listening when they are so lost in fun.

Alongside children and family photography, I also offer event and property photography. From special occasions and celebrations to homes, holiday lets and business spaces, I bring the same natural, thoughtful approach capturing things as they are, with a focus on light, detail and atmosphere.

Every photographer is different and I understand that I may not be the right photographer for everyone, so if you are unsure I welcome you to ask questions. I don't believe in pressure sales, and I pride myself on being transparent so please message with no pressure to book.
